Super performance active and work-wear fabrics need the treating with either hydrophilic or a microporous Polyurethane multi coating system.  Due to the chemical nature of these films, they have the ability to absorb and defuse water vapor, and at the same time repel on the surface of the fabric.
The effect of this process is to give full comfort to the garment user by eliminating the sweaty feeling caused by perspiration.  The technical name for expressing this transmission of vapor is called the WVP factor.  TTC's Breatex fabrics give the maximum water protection and water vapor permeability for active sports and workwear.
